Frequently asked questions about nootiz

Answers about features, setup, pricing and privacy.

What nootiz costs, what is included and how flexible you stay.

Pricing & subscription

What exactly does nootiz cost?

Team is EUR 9.99 per month, Agency EUR 19.99, Company EUR 29.99. Billed yearly that is EUR 8.33, 16.66 and 24.99 per month. Enterprise is agreed individually. Prices apply per account, not per client or project.

Do I pay per user like with other feedback tools?

No. The plan price covers the whole account including its users: 2 on Team, 5 on Agency, 15 on Company. Your clients don't count as users because they give feedback without an account.

Are there hidden costs or setup fees?

No. There is no setup fee, no onboarding package and no charge per guest comment. The plan price is the total price.

What happens after the 30-day trial?

The trial runs for 30 days with the full feature set and no credit card. Nothing is charged automatically: at the end you actively decide whether to pick a plan.

Can I change plans or cancel?

Yes. You can move between plans when projects, users or storage no longer fit, and end your subscription at the end of the term.

Is it worth it for only one or two projects a year?

Count it in saved feedback rounds: Team costs less than 15 minutes of agency time per month. If it saves a single clarification round per project, the plan has paid for itself.

Why is nootiz cheaper than Marker.io or BugHerd?

Because nootiz focuses on visual feedback and bug reports and deliberately ships no built-in project management and no deep issue-tracker integrations. Less overhead, lower price, faster rollout.

What nootiz does – and what it deliberately leaves out.

Features & limits

What do I get in each plan?

All features are included in every plan. Plans differ only in projects per year, users, domains and storage.

What context does a note capture automatically?

Every note is pinned to the element on the page and carries the page URL, browser, operating system and screen size, plus status, assignee and comments – feedback becomes a task straight away.

Can regular website visitors see the notes?

No. Notes are only visible to project participants and don't change your public website.

Does nootiz work on staging, behind a login or on mobile?

Yes. As long as the snippet is served, nootiz works on staging environments and protected areas. Feedback can also be captured at mobile resolutions.

Does nootiz replace Jira, Trello or Asana?

No, by design. nootiz is the layer where feedback is captured precisely and worked off. Keep your project management – most teams don't need a second ticket system for website revision rounds.

What about video recordings or session replay?

nootiz relies on pinpoint notes with technical context instead of recordings: faster to capture, faster to read and easier on privacy.

How many projects and domains do I get?

Team 5 projects per year and 1 domain, Agency 36 projects and 2 domains, Company 50 projects and 5 domains. Enterprise is defined individually.

What you can tell your clients about GDPR.

Privacy & security

Can nootiz be used in a GDPR-compliant way?

nootiz processes personal data under the GDPR (EU) 2016/679. Details on legal bases, recipients, retention periods and your rights are in the privacy policy.

Who is responsible for the feedback content?

Feedback content you or your clients create inside the tool is processed by nootiz exclusively on your behalf as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR.

Are there processor agreements and third-country transfers?

Data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR are in place with every processor used (hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics). Transfers to third countries only happen based on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Do my clients have to accept cookies to leave feedback?

The feedback function only processes technically necessary data. Analytics cookies on nootiz.com are set with your consent only – see the cookie policy.

Can I have data deleted?

Yes. Under the GDPR you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. An email to support is enough.

What do guests with a feedback link see?

Guests see the website with the notes of the project they were invited to – no other projects and no account settings.

From login to the first note – usually under five minutes.

Setup & rollout

How do I set up nootiz?

Create a project, add a short snippet to your website, share the link. It usually takes under five minutes.

Do I need a developer to install it?

No. The snippet is added like an analytics script – in WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Wix, TYPO3 and others a single backend field is enough.

Does nootiz work with my CMS or framework?

Yes, nootiz is platform independent. Anywhere you can add a script, nootiz works – including custom-built sites.

Do my clients need an account or training?

No. Clients open the link, click an element and write their comment. No sign-up, no password and no explanation longer than two sentences.

Does the snippet slow down my website?

The snippet loads lean and asynchronously alongside your page. Nothing changes for the public because the note interface only appears for project participants.

How do I roll nootiz out to my team and clients?

Start with a live project: add the snippet, send the link to the client, and accept all feedback for that round through nootiz only. After one round the process sticks.

What if I get stuck during setup?

Message support – we usually reply the same business day. Partners get priority support.

Stop collecting feedback in email threads

Add the snippet, share the link, collect feedback right on the page – live in under 5 minutes.
