Website feedback by platform

nootiz runs on a single snippet, so it works on any website. Below is the concrete installation path for your platform – including the usual pitfalls around caching, custom code and staging.

WordPress

Website feedback tool for WordPress

You do not need a dedicated plugin for WordPress: add the nootiz snippet once to your theme header (or through a code-snippet plugin) and you can leave notes on any element of any page.

Webflow

In React, Next.js or Vue projects you load the nootiz snippet in the root layout or document and gate it behind an environment variable so it only runs in staging and preview deployments.

In TYPO3 you include the nootiz snippet via TypoScript (page.headerData) or directly in your Fluid layout.

On staging, preview and password-protected sites nootiz works by serving the snippet in the staging environment.

Frequently asked questions about the setup

Does nootiz work on every platform?

Yes. nootiz runs on a snippet you add once to your website. Anywhere you can include a script – WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Framer, React/Next.js, TYPO3, HubSpot or your own app – nootiz works.

Do I need a plugin or a store app?

No. There is no separate plugin to maintain. You add the snippet in your theme, in the custom code area, or through your platform's code-snippet tool.

How long does the setup take?

Usually under five minutes: create a project, add the snippet, share the link. From then on everyone leaves notes directly on the element in question.

Do clients need an account to leave feedback?

No. Clients open the shared link and start leaving notes right away – no account and no login to your CMS.

Does it work on staging or password-protected sites?

Yes, as long as the snippet loads on the page. Staging environments have a dedicated page covering domains, caching and basic auth.

Will the visitors of my live website see the notes?

No. Notes are visible to project members only, never to the public visitors of your website.
